Numbers up to 10
Numbers from 0 to 10 tell how many objects there are and show their position in the number sequence. When counting, match each object to one number word; the last number said gives the total quantity.
The number sequence
Every number has a place: the number before it is one smaller and the number after it is one greater. Zero means that there are no objects. Read a sequence aloud, find its missing number and count displayed dots once more to check your answer.
