Time, mass and speed
In practical problems, make measurement units compatible before calculating. Speed, time and distance are connected by s = v × t, v = s ÷ t and t = s ÷ v.
Units
With km/h, express time in hours; with m/s, use seconds. Convert mass with 1 kg = 1000 g and 1 t = 1000 kg. Always include an appropriate unit in the final answer.
