Sample questions
- A survey included viso students. In the pie chart, p% chose answer A. How many students chose A?
- A researcher selects every nth person from a numbered list. What is this sampling method called?
- A sector of a pie chart has angle kampas°. What percentage of all data does it represent?
- Which category has the largest share in the pie chart? diagrama
- A school wants to learn the opinion of all its students about the cafeteria. Which sampling method would be most representative?
- Sections A, B and C of a pie chart represent a%, b% and c%, respectively. What percentage is the remaining section D?
- A category represents p% of a pie chart. What is the angle of its sector?
- Out of viso respondents, dalis chose answer B. What percentage is this?
Pie charts and samples
A complete pie chart represents 360° and 100%. Find a sector angle by multiplying the percentage by 360°/100; find a percentage by dividing the sector angle by 360° and multiplying by 100.
Reliable samples
A sample should represent the complete population. A convenient, very small or single-group sample may be biased. Percentages of all sectors in a pie chart must total 100%.
