Sample questions

  • Calculate the arithmetic mean: duomenys.
  • Find the range (maximum minus minimum): duomenys.
  • Find the mode: duomenys.
  • Find the median: duomenys.
  • Use the frequency table to find the mode. lentele
  • Calculate the mean from the frequency table. lentele
  • The mean of a, b, c and an unknown number is vidurkis. Find the unknown number.

Mean, mode, median and range

The mean is the total divided by the number of values. The mode is the most frequent value, the median is the centre of ordered data, and the range is the greatest value minus the smallest.

Selection

Order data before finding the median. For an even number of values, calculate the mean of the two central values. In a frequency table, account for how often each value occurs.
